WJ2 GCash Failed Transaction: What Happens to the Money
A GCash failed transaction has four common causes: a wallet limit, a bank cap, a payment that stalled in transit, or wrong payout details.
Key facts and contents
- WJ2 Bank Transfer Fee
- On InstaPay and PESONet the sending bank or e-money issuer may charge a fee; the receiving side is never charged.
- WJ2 Cash In Meaning on a Wallet and on a Cashier
- Cash in means loading money into a wallet; on a casino cashier the same step is a deposit.
- WJ2 GCash QR Code Deposit
- The WJ2 help centre lists a Deposit Thru GcashQR channel: open Deposit, pick GCASH with the QR channel, screenshot the QR code, load it in GCash's Scan QR from your gallery, confirm the amount and pay.
- WJ2 GCash Receipt
- Open the payment from your wallet's own transaction history, then open its detail screen.
- WJ2 Maya Limit
- Maya sets its own limit by account tier: Basic PHP 50,000 a month, Upgraded PHP 100,000, Super PHP 500,000, Ultimate PHP 5,000,000.
- WJ2 Maya Maintenance
- When Maya is under maintenance, stop retrying.
- WJ2 Proof of Payment for a Deposit Not Credited
- Proof of payment is the wallet receipt, its reference number, the amount, the time and your WJ2 username.
A GCash failed transaction can mean four very different things: the money never left, the money is in transit, the money reached a place you did not expect, or the lobby declined a request on its own rules. The fix depends on which one you have, so this page sorts the causes by what happens to the money. If you want the whole map of cashier routes first, open the payment gateway overview for players.
Where the money sits after a GCash failed transaction
| What you see | Where the money is | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| GCash says failed, no debit in history | Still in your wallet | Fix the cause below and retry |
| GCash shows a debit, lobby balance unchanged | In transit | Keep the reference, wait 20 minutes |
| Withdrawal request refused | Still in your lobby balance | Read the lobby rule that applied |
Cause 1: A GCash wallet limit blocked the payment
GCash caps what each verification level can hold and move. On the GCash data this site holds, the Basic level has a PHP 10,000 wallet ceiling with PHP 5,000 in and PHP 5,000 out each month, and Fully Verified raises the ceiling to PHP 100,000. A payment that would cross a cap fails before it leaves your wallet.
GCash declines the payment and your balance looks big enough.
Check your verification level in GCash. If you sit at Basic, a smaller amount may pass, or you can finish GCash’s own verification to reach a higher level. Nothing was debited, so nothing needs recovering.
Cause 2: GCash deducted but not received
This is the case that causes the most worry. The debit is in your GCash history, but the lobby balance shows the old figure.
GCash deducted the money and the lobby has not credited it.
Screenshot the GCash receipt and note the reference number. The lobby’s help centre says the balance comes within 5 minutes in most of the time; after 20 minutes, open the 24/7 Customer Service chat and send the reference, amount and time. Do not pay a second time while the first is pending. The GCash casino payment details show how GCash describes its own timing.
Cause 3: A bank step in the route has a cap
When GCash moves money through a bank, the rails matter. The bank-transfer data on this site says InstaPay carries up to PHP 50,000 per transaction, PESONet has no scheme cap, and a cap may still come from the sending institution. A large transfer can therefore fail on one rail and succeed on another.
A larger bank-linked transfer fails but a smaller one works.
Split the amount under the InstaPay figure, or use the route your bank offers for larger sums. Charges depend on the sending bank, which who pays a bank transfer fee explains.
Withdrawal failed: what the lobby rules say
When a withdrawal fails the money has not left the lobby, so it is not a GCash question at all. The help centre lists these conditions.
- The turnover must be reached before a request is accepted.
- The minimum is 200P per request and the maximum is 50,000P per day.
- An active bonus balance cannot be withdrawn until the bonus is complete.
- Wrong bank details are corrected through customer support.
Your withdrawal failed or was refused.
Read the four rules against your account, then ask the Customer Service chat to confirm which one applied. The help centre says it charges nothing for withdrawing.
Wallet side: Maya works differently
If you also use Maya, its caps follow its own tiers, which Maya wallet cap details list. Never read GCash figures as Maya’s, or the other way round.
Still not working?
Collect the GCash reference, the amount, the time and a screenshot of the lobby balance. Open the 24/7 Customer Service chat and send all four in one message. The lobby’s transaction record is viewable for 30 days, so open it before you write.
FAQ
Is my money safe after a GCash failed transaction?
Your GCash transaction history shows the truth. If it shows no debit, the money never left. If it shows a debit and the lobby balance did not move, keep the reference and ask the Customer Service chat.
How long should I wait before I report a missing deposit?
The lobby's help centre says the balance arrives within 5 minutes in most of the time and to contact support if it has not arrived within 20 minutes.
Bakit failed ang withdrawal ko?
Check the three lobby rules first: the turnover must be reached, the request must be between 200P and 50,000P per day, and your bank details must be correct. Support fixes wrong details.
Do I pay a fee when a GCash payment fails?
A payment that never completed does not show a debit in your history. Read GCash's own fee notes for linked-bank transfers, because the fee comes from the bank.
