WJ2 Responsible Gaming: Limits to Set and Where to Get Help
Gambling is for adults aged 21 and over, and it works best when the limits are set before the first spin. This page gives you the limits to decide in advance and the help that PAGCOR lists for players in the Philippines. The reminders and contacts below are quoted from PAGCOR’s own responsible gaming page.
Limits to set before you play
Decide these four things while you are calm, and write them down.
- A money limit. Choose an amount you can lose without touching rent, food, bills or loans. Treat it as the price of the session.
- A time limit. PAGCOR’s reminder reads “Set time limits for each gambling session.” Pick a length and stop when it ends.
- A stake size. As a labelled example, a ₱500 limit at a ₱5 stake is 100 spins, so choose a stake that makes the limit last the time you planned.
- A stop rule. Decide your walk-away point for both a loss and a win.
The lobby’s footer has a Responsableng Paglalaro column, and the lobby’s 24/7 Customer Service chat can tell you which controls your account offers.
PAGCOR’s reminders
PAGCOR’s page lists four reminders, quoted exactly:
- Gambling is not a source of income.
- Set time limits for each gambling session.
- Never borrow money or use all of your resources for gambling.
- Don’t chase your losses.
Warning signs
PAGCOR describes problem gambling as spending or betting more than you meant to, gambling for longer than you planned, or trying again and again to win back what you’ve lost. It can lead to debt, missed bills and other money problems, and strain on relationships with family and loved ones. If this sounds familiar, stop and use the help below.
